I can't believe how much I've done, 5 months into 2022 and I've had a great time doing whatever makes me smile.I needed to eat, drink and exercise properly and structure to my days. I found myself a personal trainer that I wouldn't find annoying or get bored with quickly.
Connaugh is excellent and he works extremely well for me. I'm no spring chicken and no athlete. He encourages me towards my very practical goals, makes sure my ambition and ability remain in sync and most importantly makes it fun. Thanks to him I feel great and its become my routine to go along to
Bicester Performance Centre 3 - 4 times a week.
The coaching aspect takes place online, its affordable and makes building strength and flexibility rewarding and fun. I can carry my own suitcases when I travel, shift sacks of dog-food, coal and furniture round the house with ease and most importantly reach down my back do up the zippers on my dresses without help. This makes life so much simpler and means a lot to me
I feel physically and psychologically fit,and I've learned to swim with Lucy, something I never thought would be possible and continue to sing with
Rock Choir. All in all I'm gradually getting my shit together.
I've had some days and nights out with wonderful friends and value my new found independence. I'm alone but certainly not lonely.
